Some of you, especially those with multiple user accounts on Windows Vista, have been experiencing issues with the SmartMusic Interactive Software.
There is a known issue with this operating system and a few suggested fixes. First, make sure your firewall (Windows and/or otherwise) is set to allow SmartMusic through. Secondly, set the program to “Run as Administrator” on all accounts.
Failing this, you may have to contact SmartMusic support at http://www.smartmusic.com/support or by calling 866-240-4041. The support staff is based in Minnesota and VERY helpful and willing to solve your problem.
