About

The music department at the Hampstead Middle School provides a wide range of musical experiences for all students.

Fifth and sixth grade students all recieve instruction in a general music classroom for one trimester each year while all seventh and eighth grade students not enrolled in a performing ensemble recieve one-half of a trimester of music instruction.

The performing ensembles of the Hampstead Middle School involve one of every four students in the building.  The instrumental and choral programs present a number of performances each year as well as providing out of school performing opportunties.

Jim Robins is the Director of Bands at the Hampstead Middle School and also teaches the seventh and eighth grade music classes.

Claudette Macomber is the Director of Choral Activities at the Hampstead Middle School and also teaches the fifth and sixth grade music classes.
