To the FIRST “INFORMANCE” – an informal concert – of the HMS 5th Grade Band!!!!!

When:  Thursday

November 17, 2011

Time: 6:30 PM

Where: HMS Café

Band Members – Arrive at HMS by 6:15 and set up your instrument in the music room and come to the café and find your seat in the band set up.  Dress as if you were having your picture taken.

Welcome back to a great new school year!

The 7th and 8th grade ensembles are off and running and the younger groups will be off the ground before we know it!

6th, 7th and 8th grade band members’ families are reminded that they can review the HMS Band Handbook, including performance dates for the year, at http://moodle.hampstead.k12.nh.us, clicking on Mr. Robins’ page and logging in as a guest when prompted.

Report Time: 

6:35 – 5th Grade

6:40 PM – 6th Grade

6:45 PM – 7th/8th Grade

 All Band members please report to the Band Room

Dress:

5th Grade – Presentable clothes as if you were having your picture taken.  No Jeans, wind pants or shorts.  Clean Shoes

6th-8th Grade – Hampstead Musician shirts with Khaki or similar pants – no jeans, wind pants or shorts.  Clean shoes

HFD Christmas Parade Cancelled

We just recieved word (Friday, 10 December 2:00PM) that, due to weather, the HFD Christmas Parade is Cancelled. The HMS Band WILL NOT be marching on Sunday.

HFD Christmas Parade

Hampstead Fire Department Christmas Parade

 Who:  6th, 7th and 8th Grade Band Members 

When:  Sunday December 12, 2PM 

Where:  Starting at Longview Drive – Ending at St. Anne’s

 Details:

  • Parade performance is required of all 7th and 8th grade band members.
  • 6th grade participation is optional, but strongly encouraged.
  • Please be dropped off at Longview Drive by 1:30 PM
  • Dress: Jeans, Sneakers and Something Blue on Top.  Dress in Layers – it will be cold.  Santa hats are OK.
  • Bring your instrument, lyre and music.
  • Students should arrange for rides home from St. Anne’s at approximately 3:00.
